Health, Safety and First Aid at Work – Level 2

Course Description

Maintain and observing safety standards at the workplace is vital as it helps avoid litigation when an accident occurs. Employers need to inform their employees and visitors about safety hazards that exist at the workplace. If a visitor slips and falls leading to a broken leg or arm at your premises, you can face legal action if there was no signs indicating “slippery floor”. 

Companies with a higher risk of health hazards and risk need to put extra effort in educating their employees about the dangers. Employers should also ensure that signs indicating existing hazards are placed in relevant and visible locations. Employees should also wear protective clothing such as ear plugs, gloves, heavy boots, or dust coats while at the workplace.

This course is open to health and safety managers and company first aiders

You will be required to have a computer/laptop, an active email address and reliable internet connection to take the course.

• Ability to motivate employees to follow safety regulations and procedures even without supervision
