Equality, diversity and inclusion are terms that are used frequently in workplace settings. In the healthcare setting, professional behaviour and approved standards of practice are underpinned by the values of equality and diversity.

This module will explore the concept of equality and diversity in the workplace setting and examine the principles that guide us to

• Treat people as individuals,
• Avoid making assumptions about them,
• Recognise diversity and individual choice
• Respect and uphold their dignity and human rights.
