The objectives for the Grade 7 Christian Religious Education (CRE) course aim to help students deepen their understanding of Christian teachings, values, and the Bible. By the end of the course, students should be able to:
- Understand the Teachings of the Bible
- Understand and explain the key messages and themes from the Old and New Testaments.
- Identify important characters, parables, and teachings of Jesus Christ.
- Study the Life and Teachings of Jesus Christ
- Learn about the birth, life, ministry, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
- Understand the significance of Jesus’ teachings on love, forgiveness, and salvation.
- Explore the Role of the Holy Trinity
- Explain the concept of the Holy Trinity: God the Father, God the Son (Jesus Christ), and God the Holy Spirit.
- Understand how the Trinity plays a role in Christian faith and practice.
- Learn Christian Values and Morality
- Understand Christian values such as love, kindness, humility, forgiveness, and compassion.
- Apply these values in daily life and decision-making.
