This scholarship supports one student from a Black African or Caribbean background studying any discipline at the University of Oxford.
Applicants must be new students studying at undergraduate level who are ordinarily resident in the UK, are eligible for domestic student status and are of Black African or Caribbean heritage (including applicants of mixed race with Black African or Black Caribbean heritage).
Applications will not be considered from those applying for a second undergraduate degree.
The award covers course fees (at the domestic student rate) and offers a grant for living expenses during three or four years depending on the length of the course. Medical students will only receive funding for the first four years of their degree. An internship grant of up to £3,000 will also be available.
