Nottingham City Homes’ Academy, the winner of UK Housing Awards 2021, is offering online training courses about digital skills, healthy eating and DIY for fellow Tenant and members of community groups who support our neighbourhoods. Here is what on offer:
Introduction to Facebook – bite sized video
2 short videos as a basic introduction for getting start with Facebook via mobile phones and interacting with NCH page.
Healthy eating – spiced bean chilli and orange and lemon cornmeal cake
2 short videos demonstrating these recipes- a start-up of a series of easy-to-follow cuisines produced by Healthy Eating Solutions, a Wellness programme based in Nottingham. You can also download the recipe card on the website if you are interested.
How to Guides – Can you Fix it?
A dozen of useful video guides instructing on domestic works ranging from cleaning up water leakage to changing door handle. If you struggle to cover commonly requested odd jobs around the house, and find household repairs challenging, you will find these guides handy.
