Free Youth Work Training
Following the success of the Bursary Funding launched by the NYA in November 2019, which has so far offered 650 youth work training bursaries (Levels 2 & 3), the NYA is delighted to announce that an additional 547 bursaries are now available for 2022/23.
The bursaries, which have been made possible by £790,000 of Government funding, will continue to widen access and secure youth work training for Levels 2 & 3. NYA works in partnership with the Network of Regional Youth Work Units; in the design and delivery of the bursaries. This supports a localized and needs based approach, maximizing the reach and impact of the funds. For this new round of bursaries there will also be targeted investment to ensure that under-represented parts of the youth sector can access qualifications. Also for the first time the funding will support access to Leadership and Management modules and assessor training across England.
