Self-employment is a situation where you work for yourself rather than being employed or working for someone. Working on your own terms has several benefits including creative freedom, independence, and job satisfaction. Many people are turning to self-employment due to the numerous challenges and uncertainty of being employed. There are many jobs that one can do as a freelancer or under self-employment such as photography, IT specialist, accounting technician, dentist, spatial and interior designer, financial advisor, make-up artist, writer, fashion designer, private tutor, among many others.
However, self-employment requires the individual to have necessary skills to effectively operate the business. An introductory course to self-employment will impart you with relevant skills to efficiently run your business. You will learn how to handle customers and your finances.

This course is open to self-employed individuals or people wishing to be self-employed in the near future.

You will need a computer/laptop, a working email address and reliable internet connection to take this course.
