Course Description
Your personal hygiene plays a significant role in the state of your overall health. People with poor hygiene habits will become sick due to accumulation of germs and bacteria that thrive in an unclean body. Good hygiene habits also bring about social habits as it involves daily cleaning your body, which reduces instances of having body odor that can bring embarrassment at school or at work.
Personal hygiene should be taught to children at an early age for them to develop it as a habit. Children should be taught the importance of regularly washing their hands, cleaning their teeth, taking a bath every day, and keeping their nails short. When these practices are incorporated into daily living, they reduce incidences of sickness in children significantly.
