The prevention, detection and reporting of bribery and other forms of corruption are the responsibility of all employees and it is our obligation to conduct all of our business in an honest and ethical manner without resorting to the use of corrupt practices or acts of bribery to obtain an unfair advantage.
Bribery is illegal and under the Bribery Act, bribery is punishable for individuals by up to 10 years’ imprisonment and if the company is found to have taken part in or failed to prevent bribery, they could face an unlimited fine, potentially be excluded from tendering for public contracts and face serious damage to their reputation. Therefore, all employees are required to understand their responsibilities and their company policy around anti-bribery and corruption.
We envisage that it will take 30 – 40 minutes to complete this course.
