Overview
Starting January 21, 2025, Cisco CyberOps certifications will be updated to Cisco Cybersecurity Associate certifications, featuring exciting new AI-related exam topics. This update is designed to equip you with cutting-edge knowledge in AI-driven cybersecurity trends and job roles.
Here’s what you need to know:
The names of the exams and exam numbers for all certifications will not change. Only the certification names are changing from CyberOps to Cybersecurity.
Beginning January 21, 2025, if you currently hold a CyberOps certification, you will automatically be recognized as holding a Cybersecurity certification. You will also be able to access and download the updated Cybersecurity certifications from the SSO (CertMetrics) platform.
If you recertify on or before January 20, 2025, you will receive the CyberOps certification/badge. However, starting January 21, 2025, you will have access to and be able to download the updated Cybersecurity certification badge.
The CyberOps Associate and CyberOps Professional certifications are not being retired (EOL’d) but are simply being renamed. You will still need to pass the required exams to earn the certification.
