Bristol Master’s Scholarship
The Bristol Master’s Scholarship awards £2,000 each to talented postgraduate students from the UK. Applicants must be from an underrepresented group and have already applied to study at the University of Bristol for 2022/23.
Who is eligible?
✔️ I have applied to study a Full-time 2022/23 Postgraduate Taught programme at the University of Bristol (MA, MSc or MRes only)
✔️ I am from a widening participation background
✔️ I am a UK national or have refugee/asylum seeker status
✔️ I have a first-class honours undergraduate degree or will do by 31 May 2022

Selection and closing dates
The closing date for all applications is midday 31st May 2022. Please note, there are two selection rounds when Scholarship awardees will be decided. SELECTION ROUND ONE
Students who apply by midday on the 28th February 2022 – who have already completed their undergraduate degree and can demonstrate that they have already achieved a first class honours degree – will be considered as part of the Round One awards. A quarter of the available Scholarships will be awarded as part of this selection round. Unsuccessful applicants at this stage will have their application considered again as part of the Round Two selection stage.
SELECTION ROUND TWO
This selection round will consider applications made up to midday 31st May 2022. During this selection round, the following applicants will be considered:
- Current final year undergraduate students on track for a first-class degree
- Those already graduated students who missed the midday 28th February 2022 deadline
- Those already graduated students who were unsuccessful for an award in Round One.
Three quarters of the available Scholarships will be awarded as part of this selection round.
